To better prepare for the movie beginning that I need to do I researched what kind of different animation there are.
Traditional Cel animation: Every frame is drawn by hand on paper(Cel) and a picture is taken. The animation happens by going through the pictures in rapid succession. This process is very time consuming and leaves a lot of room for errors.
2D Vector animation (what i will use for my project): Using a digital software to animate. This is often used for Tv shows and in advertisements. Compared to hand drawn animation, it is much easier to use and while animating one can always check for mistakes
3D animation (CGI): Nowadays it plays a very big part in movie and video game production. It involves creating, modeling and animating lifelike characters in a digital space, with realistic lighting and movement.
