Animated storyboard
I decided to create an animated storyboard to better understand how my ideas would work. I firstly used static images, helped me see the direction I wanted to go in. After that i set down dan did a more refined verion that was alomost closer to the final product. This process made it easier to experiment with camera movement and transitions before starting the final version. This way, I could quickly test what works and what doesn’t. Overall, the animated storyboard helped

Moodboard and Visual style
I started putting together a moodboard to figure out the kind of visual style I want to go for. I mainly looked at anime fight scenes because I really like that fast, dynamic energy they have. One of my biggest inspirations is Jujutsu Kaisen . The fights feel super fluid and intense, but still really clean and easy to follow. I like how the movement itself kind of tells what’s going on. I also took a lot from Demon Slayer , especially the colors and effects. The way the fight

Why did I choose animaton?

To this day my favorite shows are Jujutsu Kaisen, Black clover and fire force to name a few. So I was thrilled at the opportunity to start animating my self. Plot twist: Animation is hard But as it turns out an

This is me
Hi, I’m Cedric Dieter Gathge. I’m 19 years old and I love creating art in many forms — photography, painting, animation and I have also worked on T-shit printing. My biggest inspiration comes from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse , especially the way it blends visual style and storytelling. But also from Anime like DANDADAN, Jujutsu Kaisen, Gachiakuta and Fireforce. In the future, I’d love to work in animation and or game design, bringing worlds and characters to life throu
