Understanding your target audience is essential in media production because it helps you create content that is relevant, engaging, and appealing to the people most likely to consume it. Different audiences have different preferences, expectations, and viewing habits, so identifying these allows creators to make more informed decisions about style, genre, and themes. This questionnaire helped me gather primary research about audience opinions on animation, including their preferred styles, genres, and viewing platforms. By analysing these responses, I was able to identify trends and better understand what my target audience enjoys, which will help me tailor my media product more effectively to meet their interests and expectations.

I shared the questionnaire with a range of friends and family members, which allowed me to gather responses from people of different ages and preferences. This helped me gain a broader understanding of audience opinions rather than focusing on just one specific group. I also believe that my questionnaire included a good variety of questions, covering different aspects such as viewing habits, animation styles, genres, and the importance of elements like music, voice acting, and storytelling. This range of questions made it easier to collect detailed and useful information for my analysis.
